FAQ’s

How is your program different from other clinics?
Premier Physicians is a medically supervised weight loss clinic that uses behavior management, diet and nutrition, exercise, and pharmacology as the core pillars of its program. Weight loss is our sole focus, and our certified, specialty-trained obesity management providers create a personalized plan based on your goals, needs, and abilities. We emphasize accountability with regular patient visits in a supportive, non-judgmental, and encouraging environment. Your success is our success!

Do you take my insurance?
Visit our Accepted Insurance page. As insurance plans vary, please check with our scheduling staff regarding your specific plan and coverage.

How do I get started? Can you verify my insurance?
Our scheduling department is ready to assist you. Call 702-822-7400 and follow the prompts for scheduling. You can also use the “Request Appointment” tab for a response within 24 hours or press “Text Us” for a reply within the next business day.

When scheduling, please have your insurance details ready. We’ll verify your benefits and inform you about your coverage. A list of accepted insurances can be found [here]. Please note, as the beneficiary, you are responsible for knowing your coverage details, limits, and expenses.

What are your initial visit policies and requirements?
A $50 deposit is required for all new and existing patients. This deposit can be applied to co-pays, deductibles, ancillary purchases, or outstanding charges. Missed or canceled appointments within 48 hours will forfeit the deposit as a no-show fee.

What is the program frequency?
Patients are seen every two weeks to ensure consistency and accountability. We offer in-person visits at any of our clinics and virtual appointments via telemedicine.

What if my insurance changes?
You can continue the program without starting over. Services like labs or EKGs will be charged per cash prices or covered by your new insurance.

Can I restart the program if I was a former patient?
Yes! Contact us via phone, text, or appointment request to restart. We’ll review your insurance changes and any required procedures.

Do I have to come in for every visit if I prefer telemedicine?
An in-office visit every 90 days is required to confirm vitals and medication efficacy. Without an in-office visit, virtual appointments cannot be scheduled.

What is required for virtual visits?
Before your appointment, provide your weight, waist circumference, blood pressure, and pulse. Ensure a working internet connection, a fully charged device, a scale, a blood pressure monitor, and a retractable tape measure. Missing any of these metrics may require rescheduling, and a no-show fee may apply.

Do you offer services for pre-bariatric surgery preparation?
Yes! We help develop habits for success pre-surgery and post-surgery. Many patients continue with our program to maintain accountability and achieve further success.

Do I have to take medications?
No, medications are optional. They’re part of our four-pillar approach, including behavior modification, diet, and exercise. Your provider will discuss the benefits and side effects to help you decide.

What is your cancellation and no-show policy?
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled within 48 hours. No-shows or late cancellations will incur a $50 fee.
